Bank statement
A camt.053 file is the statement a bank sends to the account holder: the account, the opening and closing balances, and the booked entries. The example is a made-up February statement for Example GmbH, four entries, from 12,500.00 EUR to 15,987.60 EUR.
Credit transfer
A pain.001.001.09 file is the message a customer sends to the bank to request credit transfers. The example asks the bank to pay rent and an invoice from the same Example GmbH account, 2,250.00 EUR in total.
FinTS
FinTS is the customer-to-bank protocol used in Germany. The page lists the business cases and prints one example order segment: a balance, a SEPA credit transfer, an international payment, or a direct debit. The work page has the matching experience.
