Bank statement

A camt.053 file is the ISO 20022 bank-to-customer statement. The bank sends it to the account holder. It can contain several statements. Each one names the account, states the opening and closing balances, and lists the booked entries, including the counterparty and the payment reference when the bank provided them. This example uses version camt.053.001.02. The reader accepts the same statement shape when the version in the namespace is different.

Choose the example or a camt.053 file of your own, then show the statement. A Go function reads the entries. The file is not stored.

The example was written for this page. It is not from a bank. The names, amounts, and references are made up. The IBAN is the published specimen number, not an account.
